This entry is part of this set:

----

This first one is a Malaxis species. Small green creeping plant with tiny flowers. It grows both on the forest floor in the leaf litter as well as on moss-covered limestone. It is also their flowering season right now as I saw countless plants flowering.

Very small flowers about 3 or 4mm across.

Side profile. Reminds me of a stingray. Or a bird in flight.

Two flowering plants.

Almost all that I came across were blooming or in spike.

The other Jewel orchid is this very beautiful species, Dossinia marmorata.

Gorgeous colors! This one has much lighter leaves than the others.

The other jewel orchid I saw in flower was this one, a Malaxis.

Unfortunately, this is the best photo I have of this species.

If anyone knows the specific species names of species above, please leave a comment! Thanks in advance!
